Camp Elmwood An Adventure celebrating Heroes of the Bible and of today	click here for Sunday, Weekly Childcare St. John's Programs
	Under the Redwoods at St. John's Presbyterian Church, experience the grace of celebrating Heros towards a better understanding of today's struggle for Peace and Justice. Camp Elmwood is for young people, ages 5 to 13, and Teen Counselors Ages 14 to 18. Camp Elmwood! is a St. John's Presbyterian Church community service program emphasizing creativity, values, and concern for others. Monday through Friday July 28-August 1, 2008 9:00 A.M. TO 2:30 P.M. After Program Care Available: 2:30-5:30 P.M. Thursday July 31 Camp will continue until 3:30 for a swim trip Friday, August 1 Camp will continue until 8:30 P.M. for barbecue and talent show Camp Brochure and application (pdf) Teen Application (pdf)
ACTIVITIES Get acquainted. with heroes of the Bible and heroes of the spirit, the likes of Moses, David, Jesus, Gandhi, King, Mandela, Mother Theresa, and Romero through art, music, drama, dance, poetry, science, cooking, lawn games, Basketball, volleyball, ping pong, field trip, community service, and opportunities for leadership. We will seek to live together for one week in a fun-filled, progressive, non-competitive environment, using creative and performing arts to express our hopes and dreams for a world filled with God's inclsive love. End-of-the-week potluck dinner with talent show rounds out the week. COST: Camp Elmwood is for everyone. We request donations of $100.00 - $80.00 for each additional camper from thesame family Post session, until 5:30 p.M., add $25.00 per camper	Photos by Mark Coplan
